Michelle Roberts-Freeman, REALTOR®
Stephens Real Estate
Michelle grew up in Lawrence, attended Lawrence schools, and graduated from KU. While still in school Michelle managed a 40-unit apartment complex. In fact, her exposure to property management and real estate has been life-long since her parents, Lewis and Mary Lou Roberts, were both in real estate. Michelle has vivid memories of tagging along, helping stage homes, and hearing them talk about “taking care of the customer.”
Michelle considers her family her proudest accomplishment. She has been married to Danny Freeman since 1997, and they have two bright, talented daughters, Lexie and Kenzie. Her husband Danny, a Lawrence native, is also a realtor with Stephens Real Estate and was privileged to work side-by-side with her mother Mary Lou for many years.
Michelle is excited to carry on the family tradition of serving the Lawrence community. Whether you’re in the market to buy or sell give Michelle a call. She’ll be happy to listen, advise, and get to work for you! To read more about Michelle, visit stephensre.com
John Salvino, REALTOR®, Certified Property Manager
Stephens Commercial Real Estate
John Salvino, commercial real estate expert, has always believed in working hard and working smart. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a business degree, John saw his first opportunities near the campus of his alma mater and began purchasing houses close to KU. Within two years, he was president of Midwest Property Management, where to this day he heads a team overseeing both residential and commercial real estate in Lawrence, Kansas.
The following decade saw John growing his real estate portfolio as a private investor — and also successfully cultivating outside investment. In 2007, John and partners founded DJT Student Housing Group, a thriving firm that owned and operated thousands of units of off-campus housing in eight Midwestern states — providing safe, affordable and convenient accommodation to almost 3,500 students. Further, DJT had a share of ownership over 1,200 more units in college towns throughout the region.
John is married and raising three kids in Lawrence, where he’s lived since 1987. A lifelong Kansas resident, his favorite pastimes are gravel and mountain biking, traveling, enjoying Clinton Lake in summertime and — of course — rooting for Jayhawk basketball.
John’s 20+ years in commercial real estate have honed his skills as a local expert. He’s ready to put those skills to work helping you and your business reach your goals. For more information, visit commercial.stephensre.com
