LAWRENCE, KANSAS – Meredithe McCormick joins the L Magazine team as Vice President of Business Development. The Fort Scott native moved to Lawrence shortly after graduating from Fort Scott Community College. McCormick is a well-rounded professional. She started her career with Monza Modeling Agency, modeling for Dillard’s and The Jones Store. Her resume starts with 25 years of experience working as a membership sales executive for the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, then working in advertising with KLWN 1320 AM Radio and the last six years with the Lawrence Business Magazine.
She enjoys sewing, reading, gardening and meeting new people. Her husband is Gary McCormick. Meredithe has two children and enjoys watching her granddaughter’s sporting events.
Meredithe McCormick says, “I am very excited to reunite with the Kern Marketing Group. Mark Kern, President and CEO of the Kern Marketing Group and L, hired me six years ago to work for Lawrence Business Magazine. I was excited then and just as excited now to be back with his company and L Magazine.
