The Lawrence Veterans Day Parade is this Saturday, November 11, downtown on Massachusetts Street, beginning at 7th and going south to South Park, at 1:00 pm. This will be the first time in about 50 years that the Lawrence citizens will have an opportunity to officially say “thank you” and to celebrate our veterans of all wars for their sacrifices by cheering, saluting and applauding our veterans as they proceed down the street.
