FIFTH ANNUAL Downtown Lawrence Restaurant week SET FOR January 18-26
Downtown Lawrence restaurants are serving up something different and delightful.
Lawrence, KS, January 10, 2019– Join us for the fifth annual Downtown Lawrence Restaurant Week, January 18-26. Lawrence’s downtown restaurants are cooking up something different for this culinary event experience that’s as eclectic as Lawrence.
New this year – the event has a delicious partnership with Robert Mondavi Private Selection wines and The Real McCoy Rum to provide expert wine and specialty cocktail pairings. Look for these tasty libations at participating restaurants. Downtown Lawrence Restaurant Week has continued to expand beyond the Downtown borders to include more local restaurants including Archibowls, the reinvented Basil Leaf Café, the new Eldridge House Grille, Grinders LFK, Lark a Fare, Mexquisito, and the soon to open Ondori Noodle Shop.
More than thirty restaurants have put together special Restaurant Week menus to delight your taste buds. Menus include culinary creations from gourmet hot dogs to prime rib pita pockets, brown sugar and honey meatloaf to walk-o-tacos, tres leches donuts to lemon ricotta pie.
Participating restaurants include: 715, The Basil Leaaf Café, Bon Bon!, The Burger Stand, Culinaria, Free State Brewing Co., Eldridge House Grille, Encore Café, Free State Brewing Co., Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Genovese, Global Café, Grinders LFK, Jefferson’s, Lark a Fare, Lawrence Beer Co., Leeway Franks, The Levee Café, Limestone Pizza, Lucia Beer Garden + Grill, The Mad Greek, Mass St. Fish House & Raw Bar, Merchants Pub & Plate, Mexquisito, Ondori Noodle Shop, Pickleman’s Gourmet Café, Pita Pit, Quinton’s Bar & Deli, RND Corner Grille, Ramen Bowls, Taco Zone, Terrebonne, Wa, Wake the Dead, and Zen Zero.
Each restaurant will prepare creative and original dishes not found on their regular menus. Some will offer tasting menus for $35 or less per person; others will offer special items from $5 and up.
