JOIN FREE STATE FOR TRAILS THAT CONNECT US 2019!
Drop by Free State’s Eastside Brewery, on the Burroughs Trail, 19th and Moodie Road on Friday evening, April 26th. From 5 until 8, you’ll be able to enjoy beer, food, music, a brewery open house, activities and numerous features on local trails. There will be a discussion of the Burroughs Creek Trail “Hike Through History” project, suggestions from the GetOutdoorsKansas organization, Lawrence #finishtheloop updates from FlatKs.org, and spotting scopes focused on the raptors perched high above on the grain elevator to our south with folks from the Jayhawk Audubon to describe. Our location offers very easy access from the trail, so cycling or walking is encouraged! Dogs on leash are welcome outside. There will be free bicycle valet parking – including a free beer sample ticket if you ride and park your bike at the event!
