LAWRENCE, KS (August 20, 2020) – The Trust Company, an independent, fee-only, investment management and financial advisory firm, has announced the promotion of Jason Walker, MBA, CTFA, to the position of Senior Vice President & Trust Officer.
Jason has been with The Trust Company since 2015. He manages investment, retirement plan, and trust accounts for individuals, businesses and nonprofit clients. He was awarded the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the Institute of Certified Bankers, a subsidiary of the American Bankers Association, in 2016. Prior to joining The Trust Company, Jason specialized in all types of retirement plans, employee benefits and insurance, holding Series 6 and Series 63 Securities licenses.
Jason is passionate about giving back to the Lawrence community, and supports several local organizations with his time and expertise. He currently is completing his term as board president of Lawrence Habitat for Humanity and serves as treasurer for Lawrence Area Partners in Aging. He also is a member of the board of DCCCA and chairs its investment committee.
