Round 2 will fund business disruption due to COVID-19 closures and restrictions
Lawrence, KS, November 5, 2020 – The Lawrence Restaurant Association (LRA) has received CARES Act grant funding to support hospitality businesses in Douglas County that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19.
LRA is now accepting applications for Round 2. Round 2 will be based on business disruption due to COVID-19 required closures and restrictions.
Applicants must be locally owned and operated hospitality businesses, have a FEIN, hold a Kansas Food Service or Liquor License, and have or will be in operation between March 1 and December 31, 2020. Continuous operation during this timeframe is not required.
The total amounts available to each business will depend on the number of applicants.
Douglas County hospitality businesses are invited to view and complete the application at LawrenceRestaurantAssociation.com/CARES. Round 2 applications are being accepted now through November 30. Funds will be distributed December 1-15.
