Hetrick Air Services Launches Holiday Helicopter Light Tours Over Downtown Lawrence
LAWRENCE, Kan., Dec. 12, 2025 — Hetrick Air Services, Lawrence’s longtime aviation leader, is bringing a new and unforgettable way to experience the season: Holiday Helicopter Light Tours. Beginning Friday, December 5, residents and visitors can now take a “sleigh ride in the sky” and enjoy breathtaking aerial views of downtown Lawrence’s Christmas lights from high above the city.
Designed as a one-of-a-kind holiday outing, the flights offer families, friends, and gift-givers a magical experience unlike anything else in the region.
Each holiday tour includes:
• A 20-minute scenic flight above downtown Lawrence
• Flights available every Friday, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Space for up to three passengers per flight (combined weight not to exceed 800 lbs)
• A fixed price of $350 per flight
