The Girlfriend’s Gala, benefiting the American Cancer Society, seeks sponsors for their 4th Annual event. The 2018 Gala will be held at Abe & Jake’s Landing on Friday, February 2nd, 2018. Doors open at 7pm and the event runs through Midnight. The Gala includes a basket raffle, bachelor auction, savory and sweet snacks, music and dancing, and a photo booth.
The Girlfriend’s Gala started in 2014 as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Douglas County, Kansas and has evolved into it’s own Gala-style fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society provides programs and services for cancer patients and their families throughout the United States. Funds raised through the Girlfriend’s Gala benefit those programs and services right here in Douglas County. More information about the American Cancer Society can be found at www.cancer.org.
