Years ago, while visiting family here in Lawrence, Bridget and her husband found Lawrence to be exactly the kind of community in which they hoped to raise their four children. It has a small town feel with friendly people and a multitude of activities. In 2004 they made it official and moved from Nebraska. Who knew the transition from Husker to Jayhawk fan could be so painless?
