Lawrence, KS, August 10, 2018– eXplore Lawrence is pleased to announce the hire of Lauren Crawford who has joined the team as Higher Education Sales Manager. In this role, Crawford will raise the profile of Lawrence as a higher education meeting and convention destination. She will work closely with area universities to attract meetings and conventions that will generate a positive economic impact for the community.

Crawford was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Shawnee, KS. She has a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Oklahoma State University. Crawford brings a wealth of sales, and event management experience to the eXplore Lawrence team. Most recently, Crawford was Sales & Catering Manager at Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City, Kansas.
eXplore Lawrence is the Destination Marketing Organization for the City of Lawrence and Douglas County.
