Longtime Chamber employee, Cathy Lewis, has announced her retirement from the organization she served for nearly 30 years. Cathy served as Vice President of Membership, leading The Chamber’s membership activities through building relationships with business owners across the community and working with Chamber staff to ensure membership remained as valuable as possible through events, marketing opportunities, advocacy, and other avenues.
“Working here for the last 30 years has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth and I will never forget the colleagues and friends I have made over those years,” Lewis said. “I know with the team we have at The Chamber, membership will be in good hands.”
Cathy’s retirement is effective immediately, as her husband, Rick, was diagnosed with a medical condition that will require her full attention and support at this time. She will be able to devote her energy to the journey ahead for her family, a decision The Chamber staff supports. Cathy and Rick are looking forward to the future, spending time with their grandchildren and experiencing new adventures.
“Cathy has been a fixture at The Chamber for three decades,” said Bonnie Lowe, President & CEO. “She was a dedicated employee that forged meaningful relationships with business owners and staff members alike. She will be missed greatly, and our staff is ready to continue the excellent work she has done for our members and our community.”
