(Lawrence, KS) United Way of Douglas County is hosting a day-long Bridges Out of Poverty Workshop for Douglas County human service providers, community leaders, and change makers in Douglas County. The day-long workshop is Friday, July 26th from 9am-4pm in the Carnegie Building, 200 W 9th St., Lawrence, KS, 66044.

Training will be provided by Kathy McPherson, an experienced Bridges Out of Poverty and Getting Ahead in a Just-Gettin’-By World trainer and facilitator with over 25 years of experience working with communities to reduce poverty.

Lunch is being donated by HyVee and is included with the day-long workshop fee.
