[Kansas City, KS, Aug. 2020] — Josh Gentry has a vision to assist small businesses and young entrepreneurs to succeed. As an entrepreneur himself, he knows how tough it can be to launch successfully in today’s world. Born and raised in Rossville, Kansas, Josh has been in tune with the issues facing the communities of eastern Kansas for decades.Now as Senior Vice President at Financial Independence Group, Josh has created The Small Business, Big Deal Podcast. Each week he features a different Kansas entrepreneur who then deconstructs their businesses, and piece by piece, tells the story of how they were made.
Josh shares “This podcast is a place where small business owners from Kansas City, Topeka, Lawrence, Wichita, Manhattan, and all the small towns in between can tell their unique stories that make them part of the fabric of their communities. Small businesses often struggle to have their
message heard so we’ve launched a podcast to give them that voice.”
Josh continues, “Hopefully the Small Business Big Deal podcast can serve as a conduit to help connect people in the community directly with business owners that they absolutely should know about and use when the timing is right.”
