Round 3 will fund business disruption due to COVID-19 closures and restrictions

Lawrence, KS, December 14, 2020 – eXplore Lawrence has received CARES Act grant funding to support hotel/lodging businesses in Douglas County that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19.

eXplore Lawrence is now accepting applications for Round 3. Round 3 will be based on business disruption due to COVID-19 required closures and restrictions.

Applicants must be locally/regionally owned hotel/lodging businesses, have a FEIN, and have or will be in operation between March 1 and December 31, 2020. Continuous operation during this timeframe is not required.

The total amounts available to each business will depend on the number of applicants. The total Round 3 funding amount available is $100,000.

Douglas County hotel businesses should contact Kendra Brayfield, kbrayfield@explorelawrence.com to apply. Round 3 applications are being accepted now through December 18.
